The Ballarat Town Hall has stood for over 150 years, born from the 1850sā gold rush. It has a long history that reflects the growth and development of the City of Ballarat, both its triumphs and tribulations.
The Town Hall has been the scene of many occasions great and small, in which thousands of citizens, visitors, dignitaries, celebrities and civil servants have played a part throughout the years
Look out for the stop markers and listen to the audio clips as you explore the Town Hall, to hear what they would say if these walls could talk...

Wednesday 19 November and Friday 21 November, 2pm - 3pm
Step through the doors of the Ballarat Town Hall for a free guided tour with one of their knowledgeable Hall Keepers.
A fascinating hour awaits with stories of the history of Ballarat and the Town Hall's part in it. Explore areas of the Town Hall normally not accessible to the public. This tour will inform and delight visitors to this historic city.
